Marie Ellis

Practice Director

Marie is a Fellow with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Director of Elite Accounting Services.  Before setting up Elite Accounting Marie worked in a variety of industries and businesses, from billion-pound corporations to small and medium enterprises, in roles ranging from Financial Planning Analyst to Financial Controller and Finance Director. 

Marie has worked as a financial business partner to non-financial people, supporting with information, analysis and insights – skills she now uses to help Managing Directors and Business Owners within their businesses.  Marie believes customer service is key and is committed to ensuring the Team provide the best possible personalised accounting solutions for our clients while helping clients to gain confidence and control with their business finances.

 When she isn’t busy working for her clients, Marie is a movie buff, who enjoys going to the cinema and reading, as well as supporting Leicester Tigers as a season ticket holder.

Vicky Nichols

Practice Manager

Vicky ran her own manufacturing and retail business for 17 years and has a great deal of experience across a wide range of other industries and sectors, including education, engineering, textiles, and the NHS.  Vicky was also an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development for over 20 years – the independent professional body for HR experts.

As Practice Manager, Vicky is dedicated to ensuring we provide a first-class and effective customer experience for our clients.  

When she’s not at work Vicky enjoys dog walking, theatre shows, and music concerts, as well as travelling and holidays.

Nick Cooper

Accountant

Nick is AAT qualified and part ACCA qualified, and has 12 years experience working within different areas of the finance function, including finance executive, management accountant and financial accountant.

Nick is experienced in ABC costing, processing complex areas of the accounting function, reconciliations, precision accounting, as well as management reporting, variance analysis and profitability reporting.

Outside of work Nick is a keen golfer, who enjoys music and spending time with his family.

Karl Bennett

Trainee Accountant

Karl is studying AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification, which he began in 2022.

Karl’s main responsibilities include VAT return preparation and filing, annual accounts and tax return preparation, as well as management accounts preparation. 

When he’s not at work, Karl enjoys reading and playing golf.

Oliver Ford

Accounts Assistant

Ollie is studying ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification, which he began in 2023.

Ollie’s main responsibilities include bookkeeping, payroll and assisting with accounts and taxation preparation.  Ollie is keen to support clients with all areas of their accounting and taxation needs.

In his spare time Ollie likes watching all sports and participating in runninng and football, as well as spending time with his young family.

Kenzi

Pawlick Relations Officer

Kenzi is the official visitor greeter of the company, her main responsibilities are getting belly rubs and looking cute.

Kenzi enjoys sleeping on the job, tennis balls, long walks and running.
